Raven’s are well known for their intelligence. They are very clever birds. In fact, some people may even rate raven’s to be just as intelligent as dolphins! Raven’s are ultimate problem solvers! They have been seen to solve complicated multi-step tasks or puzzles to get food. They can work out how to solve problems in less than a minute.
Where do ravens live?
Common Ravens occur over most of the Northern Hemisphere in nearly any habitat (eastern forests and the open Great Plains are exceptions).
Did you know?
Raven’s have the largest brains than any other birds! They belong to a group of birds called corvids. Raven’s can mimic other sounds they hear, such as engines, horns and other animals. They are one of the smartest birds. They can even imitate wolves.
What do they eat?
Raven’s eat mostly anything. They eat eggs, small birds, berries, fish and human food. Raven’s like to eat food left overs from picnics. They also eat the leftover meals from wolves.
